Sunbird Lodge - Hout Bay

Sunbird Mountain Lodge is only minutes away from Sunbird Mountain Retreat, lying on the opposite side of the Valley overlooking Orangekloof Nature Reserve and the back of the Twelve Apostles. Our Lodge is encircled by a breathtaking panarama and offers two self catering units with a private entrance. These double bedroom units are furnished with flair and crafted in maple and are ideal for discerning couples

Our self catering accommodation is ideally suited for couples. There are two spacious double bedded units with an open plan kitchen, lounge and dining area and en suite bath and toilet.

Our upstairs loft-style unit has a bright and sunny quality, created by a combination of sky lights, vibrant colour and space. There is a double bed and downstairs bathroom. The beautiful kitchen is finished with beech and black granite and is continuous with the open plan dining area and lounge.

The bottom unit adjoins the main house and is a little more compact than the loft style apartment, but has both a bath and shower, both of which have views of the garden and mountains, making this part of ones daily routine a restful and special experience.

There are two single beds in the bright, colourful yet restful bedroom. The open plan kitchenette, dining area and lounge is compact and finished in pale wood and aquamarine making it both sunny and restful.

Thandekayo Guest House - Hout Bay

Thandekayo is situated in Hout Bay. Which is one of the most beautiful bays near Cape Town and is situated at the beginning of the Wine- and Garden route. Our luxury Guesthouse enjoys beautiful views of the bay and the mountains in a peaceful and secure surrounding.

We have five high standard rooms, all with bathroom en-suite. All rooms are different but of the same high quality. We have a beautiful landscaped garden (3.000m2), two swimming pools and a comfortable lounge and breakfast area.

Thandekayo is Zulu and means: “Warm welcome in our home”. We hope that when people come to stay with us they will say: We feel at home, we feel good, that’s what we want.
